On behalf of the 2005 “Festival of Trees and Holiday Gifts” Committee, I am happy to write to you today to thank you for your generous donation and to tell you about the success of this year’s 10th anniversary “Festival of Trees and Holiday Gifts” gala. Together with you, we raised over $100,000, and I can promise you that without your support, this success would not have been possible.
We have come a long way in the fight against cancer, and we don’t often hear about the progress that has been made. The dollars that you help raise allow the Cancer Society to fund promising cancer research, to offer support services to those living with cancer daily and to their families, to help raise the awareness of the importance of cancer prevention, and to operate a toll-free Cancer information service. We can all appreciate how important it is to remain dedicated to moving ahead with our fight against this disease and to supporting those living with cancer in their lives.
“The Festival of Trees and Holiday Gifts” 2006 will be held on November 30th this year. We look forward to your participation again; please mark the date on your calendar.
